Join Virtual Services and Meetings
Worship on Sunday morning is typically streamed via Zoom beginning at 10:00 AM. The publication Today at Trinity —with the prayers selected for the week and a direct link to online worship — may be automatically received in your email inbox each week by emailing your request to music@trinitylewiston.org .
Our camera and microphone system are currently being upgraded, so we ask for your patience and understanding as we improve the quality of our audio, and visual transmission.
The service is largely based on the Book of Common Prayer and other worship materials from around the Anglican Communion. Similarly, musical selections come from a wide range of traditional and contemporary devotional music.
The daily lectionary and other resources may be found through The Lectionary Calendar of the Episcopal Church.
Prayers for Spiritual Communion
A Prayer for Spiritual Communion is appropriate for those who are participating in a virtual worship experience and unable to receive the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist in person.
Home communions may be scheduled throughout the year by contacting a member of the clergy.
A Prayer for Spiritual Communion for the Episcopal Church
“My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.”
Dean Lawrence Kimberley
A Prayer for Spiritual Communion for the Armed Forces
“In union, O Lord, with your faithful people at every altar of your Church, where the Holy
Eucharist is now being celebrated, I desire to offer to you praise and thanksgiving. I remember
your death, Lord Christ; I proclaim your resurrection; I await your coming in glory. Since I
cannot receive you today in the Sacrament of your Body and Blood, I beseech you to come
spiritually into my heart. Cleanse and strengthen me with your grace, Lord Jesus, and let me
never be separated from you. May I live in you, and you in me, in this life and in the life to
come. Amen.”
