The Oasis of Music at Trinity Commons provides a midday, midweek musical respite to ground and settle you. Organized by local musician Greg Boardman, the series presents diverse and high quality range of musical styles and draws a loyal and enthusiastic community of music lovers who come to listen each week. The series includes performers from many different musical traditions — classical chamber music, folk musics of many cultures, jazz, country, and contemporary singer-songwriters.
The dates for our 23-24 series is filled through May with many happy returns and several new additions, all beginning Wednesday September 6, at 12:30!
The Oasis of Music runs from 12:30-1:00 on Wednesdays at Trinity Church and Commons, 247 Bates Street in Lewiston. Admission is free. Oasis of Music runs from September to May, and features artists from the greater LA region performing vocal and instrumental music of all types, from folk to jazz to classical, world and everything in between. Weekly Facebook posts give information on the artists for each concert.
